• Urinary Tract Infection or UTI


    Urinary tract infection is a very common type of infection, which can occur to both men and women, but women are especially more prone to UTI, because the Urethra is shorter in women than men. UTI affects the kidneys, bladder, tubes and urethra. UTI is causes by bacteria, women urethra is closer to anus, that’s why bacteria transferred easily into the bladder. UTI not a serious problem but sometimes it can be dangerous. It is diagnosed with its symptoms and mostly the treatment is heavy antibiotics, which doctors suggest you, and patient must have to complete the course of antibiotics, or the infection can raise again and again.

    • Burning and pain while peeing
    • Cramping in lower abdominal area
    • Nausea and vomiting
    • Fever in some patients
    • Feel strong urge to urinate

    Effective Home Remedies for Urinary Tract Infection

    1. Vitamin C

    Vitamin c is the rich source of acid, and it help to balance the acidic base in urinary tract. Many fruits included vitamin c like-orange, lemon, raspberries, and especially Indian Gooseberry. Add these fruits into your diet or you can take it with water, like lemon juice or amla or Indian gooseberry powder in one glass of water for 10 days.


    1. Cranberries Juice

    Cranberry Juice has antibiotic affect, which prevent from bacteria, and stops the bacteria from reaching the walls of urethra. Drink half glass of cranberry juice from preventing the UTI, and if you are suffering from UTI then drink at least 3-4 glass of cranberry juice, which should be unsweetened, and if you have kidney stone history then do not take cranberry juice. You can also mix apple and orange juice in it for taste.


    1. Avoid Junk Food

    If you have UTI then you must have to avoid the junk and fast food. Your focus must be on healthy foods, which have sufficient minerals and fiber. Also avoid tea, coffee, alcohol and smoking, because these all thing will irritate your bladder, which causes increase your problem and power of bacteria.


    1. Be Hygienic

    Keep your vagina clean as much as possible. You can use tea tree oil for that, because tea tree oil has rich value of antibacterial. Add 10-12 drops of tea tree oil into your bathing water and wash your urethra with that. It will reduce the abdominal pain, and less the numbers of bacteria, and you will certainly feel the relief. Also wear loose clothes. Avoid tight clothes and undergarments.


    1. Blueberries

    Add blueberries to your breakfast. You can add it into your cereals or take it simply. You can also make blueberries juice, but make sure that do not add artificial sweetener in it. Blueberries are good source of anti-oxidants.
